Artist's Comments

More stark shadows thrown by the rising sun this time across Goblin Valley, a relatively small wash found in central Utah, USA, so named for the small and quaint hoodoo formations strewn across it's width.

I really enjoy the sky in this shot. The clouds seem to mimic the shapes cast by the shadows on the foreground.

For some reason this shot feels like it was taken on another planet - must be the mix of clouds in the sky. I like it! :D

Thank you. :) Yeah, a lot of Utah felt to me like another planet! So many strange and wonderful places there.
Thanks! So, um, what is a Malibu girl doing in the Great White North?

lol. My mom thought of the name for me. I lived out in the prairies in the middle of nowhere...but she considered me to be more high maintenance than a lot of people (I don't relaly think so..at least not anymore) so she thought the name worked lol. And it won't be white for too much longer..thank god. I'm looking forward to spring and summer and HOPEFULLY i can get out and get some new pictures taken hah
